We, the Punjabis has been residing and serving in Andhra Pradesh much before it was formed. Our ancestors came to Deccan along with Gurus and settled here since then.

After settling down in the twin cities with our own businesses, there was a great urge to start some organization which can bring all scattered Punjabis to one single platform-thus formed PUNJABI SEVA SAMITHI in the year 1998. With only 11 members in the first meeting it has taken the shape of a big tree with presently 330 members and growing rapidly covering not only twin cities but other parts of the state also.

The intention to form this Samithi is purely to spread and not to forget the roots of Punjab as we are staying far away from our Home Town in Punjab. Even though we are Staying thousands of kilometers away from Punjab, our Soul remains in Punjab. To interact and get in touch with each other and spread our hands to the poor and needy of our community and to make alliances within the community, the Samithi’s purpose served well and is appreciated by one and all.
